I'm - your head Lift With Kenna Coach
I've been an online health, fitness, and mindset coach since 2020 and have had the chance to help hundreds of women all over the world feel stronger, more confident, and more in control of their health.
My coaching is all about creating lasting change through mindset shifts and sustainable habits. Physical transformation is great — but it means so much more when it's built on a strong internal foundation of healthy habits and a growth mindset.
I'm big on education (both for myself and my clients), and I'm always learning. Right now, I hold certifications in nutrition, mindset coaching, and pre/postnatal training.

I grew up playing just about every sport — basketball, softball, soccer, swim team, and my all-time favorite, ice hockey. Movement was a big part of my life, but nutrition? Not so much. I ate a lot of fast food and processed snacks, with no real understanding of how what I ate impacted how I felt or performed. Most of the messaging I heard around food was about eating to look a certain way — not to feel good or fuel my body.
A few difficult life events, the pressures of being a teenager, and the pull of diet culture all collided, leading me to develop an unhealthy relationship with food and exercise. What once felt joyful became a way to manage stress and control my body. Therapy helped me begin the healing process but it took time, and I still didn’t feel at peace with my body.
By this point, I felt more at home in my skin than before, but I still struggled with comparison. When I wanted to make healthy changes, I struggled with knowing where to begin or what to change — and if I didn’t see results quickly, I’d get frustrated and give up — only to try again a few months later.
When I did go to the gym, I’d fumble around with the machines for an hour. (Proper form? I didn’t know her!) Even though I was in a better headspace, I still didn’t know how to care for my body. I didn’t understand how to eat to support my energy, or enjoy indulgences in moderation, or balance movement with recovery.
Like many others, the pandemic hit me hard. I stopped working out, drank more than usual, and ended up at my heaviest. I was stuck in a toxic job, constantly stressed, and the only time I felt I could unwind was with a drink in my hand. Most nights, I was too exhausted to cook, so takeout became the norm.
That winter, I made a change. I joined a gym and started working with a personal trainer once a week. I began exercising consistently and cooking at home more often and quickly started to feel (and see) the difference. Most importantly, I discovered the joy of taking care of myself.
Still, I had a lot of questions — how long should I train for? How much protein do I need? What exercises are most important? That curiosity turned into a passion. I left my job, got certified, and began helping others navigate their own journeys with fitness and food.
Today, I’ve built both internal and external strength — and I honestly can’t believe how long I lived without knowing how to properly care for and fuel my body. Now I move and eat in ways that support my health, energy, and happiness.
And the best part? I’ve helped hundreds of women around the world do the same. Together, we’ve built empowering relationships with food, movement, and our bodies.
I've been vegetarian or vegan since I was 15 and have mastered all the plant-based hacks for hitting your protein goals.
I travel almost every month. I've been to 26 countries & travel internationally every year!
I grew up playing ice hockey in Colorado and still hit the ice every week with my co-ed San Diego team. Each year, we travel for tournaments across North America and Europe!
Live music is my happy place. I average about 30 shows a year. Emo, pop-punk, and metalcore are my go-to genres.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing, along with minors in Psychology and Gender Studies. I still take writing classes to keep sharpening my craft and I'm working toward earning my masters!
